For many years there was within Dave a burning desire to create, using the wood he often worked with while clearing fence rows, repairing buildings, or splitting, then burning to keep his house warm. As a dairy & forage crop farmer he never had time to make use of the basic wood-turning he learned in high school shop class. Retired now, and 50 years later, he thoroughly enjoys seeing what "emerges" from each chunk of wood. |
